I came upon a bunch of forums saying anime wasn't art. Their main arguments are; - It's not original - They're all cut out of the same template - You don't need skill to draw anime - Artists could cultivate their skills towards something "better" instead of wasting time on anime - It is not detailed at all (the noses and mouths are just lines) - The proportions are crazy (large eyes, spindly legs) I have a lot of arguments towards their reasons but I'm not gonna say anything here. I mean, maybe they feel the same way about anime as I feel about certain abstract "art" :\ What do you think? o:
